Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move materials and stock within the warehouse; pick and stage orders.

Job description

Wood Personnel Services is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for leading manufacturing and distribution facilities in Murfreesboro and the surrounding area including Rutherford, Davidson and Wilson Counties. If you have recent forklift experience, a strong commitment to safety, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for dependable operators who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Forklift Operator Shift and Compensation:

• $22 per hour
• 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts

Shift and pay may vary depending on the client assignment

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack equipment (depending on assignment)
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Moving materials throughout the warehouse
• Picking and staging orders
• Receiving and storing inventory
• Supplying production or shipping areas with materials
• Performing routine equipment inspections before each shift
• Following all OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed

Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 years
• Must provide verifiable work reference confirming forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
