Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months forklift experience within the past 3 years.
• Must provide a verifiable work reference confirming forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick and stage orders.
• Receive and store inventory and support production or shipping areas.
• Perform routine equipment inspections before each shift.
• Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Wood Personnel Services is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for leading manufacturing and distribution facilities in Nashville and the surrounding area. If you have recent forklift experience, a strong commitment to safety, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for dependable operators who take pride in working safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Interested candidates must have at least 6 months of forklift experience within the past 3 years.

Forklift Operator Shift and Compensation:

• Up to $ 20.50 per hour
• 1st, 2nd, 3rd and weekend shifts

Shift and pay may vary depending on the client assignment.

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, order picker or electric pallet jack equipment (depending on assignment)
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Moving materials throughout the warehouse
• Picking and staging orders
• Receiving and storing inventory
• Supplying production or shipping areas with materials
• Performing routine equipment inspections before each shift
• Following all OSHA and company safety guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed

Specific equipment and responsibilities may vary depending on the client assignment.

Forklift Operator Skills and Qualifications:
