Job Summary

We are seeking a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Jackson, MI. This role supports shipping, inventory, material handling, and warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products, materials, and supplies safely throughout the facility.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging, loading, unloading, and verifying materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and assist with cycle counts or material tracking as needed.
• Move, organize, and store materials according to production and warehouse requirements.
• Follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and manufacturing facility guidelines.
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to support daily operational goals.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $19 per hour.
• Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule, 6 AM to 6 PM.
• Job Type: Contract, temp-to-hire.
• Location: Jackson, MI.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations.
• Operate a forklift or obtain forklift certification as required.
• Move and organize materials in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Assist production and warehouse teams with daily operational needs.
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, shipping, material handling, or related experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required or ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production warehouse environment preferred.
• Prior shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience preferred.
