Position Overview

The Forklift Operator is responsible for handling the customer's packaged and pre-packaged products that are shipped, received, and stored at Quantix.

Requirements

The Warehouse Forklift Operator ensures that all products and supplies are handled and stored safely, with all required data accurately recorded into the VMU.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operate warehouse forklift safely at all times.
2. Follow all work instructions.
3. Accurately complete and forward paperwork in a timely manner.
4. Verify customer packages are in good condition; report non-conformance on an NCR form.
5. Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and dock facilities.
6. Assist in all warehouse operations as required.
7. Report findings of contaminants to management.
8. Take product samples as required.
9. Communicate problems and issues to management.
10. Input data accurately into VMU.
11. Follow all safety procedures and workplace policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of sit-down propane forklift experience (certified forklift license preferred).
• Minimum 6 months of daily forklift driving experience.
• Pass a drug test.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55.1 lbs) for 15 minutes.
• Ability to lift and move pallets weighing up to 34 kg (75 lbs).
• Participation in E-Verify; no felony convictions within the last 7 years; ability to pass background and drug screens.
