Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Forklift Operator in Havre de Grace, MD to safely move raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas. This role supports our high quality standards and positive team culture.

You will operate a forklift, use an RF scanning device to track inventory, and load finished goods for shipment, with a rotating 12-hour shift schedule and opportunities for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year forklift experience.
• Valid driver license required.

You Will

• Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas
• Use RF scanning device to scan goods and properly maintain inventory
• Load finished goods to ship to customers
• Grow knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• Able to work days 7 pm - 7 am
• Schedule cycles are 3 days on, 2 day off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat
• Able to work overtime, as needed
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Valid driver license
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to be a productive team member
• Physical requirement includes able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
