Job summary

Plastipak in Jackson Center, OH is seeking a Forklift Operator/Material Handler to safely move raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.

You will operate a forklift, use RF scanners to maintain inventory records, load shipments, and participate in a wide range of training to grow your skills. A 12-hour shift schedule and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, up to 70 lbs with a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
• Scan goods with RF scanner and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Load finished goods for shipment to customers.

As a Forklift Operator/Material Handler, you safely & efficiently move & store raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas. You Will

• Operate a forklift to transport raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas
• Use a RF scanning device to scan goods & properly maintain inventory records
• Load finished goods to ship to customers
• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience. This can be through work experience &/or education & training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift, with or without a reasonable accommodation

You’ll Earn

• $17.75/hour & up, based on experience
• Night shift includes a shift differential of $1.50/hr
