Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move material between the warehouse and production areas, maintaining accurate inventory records using RF scanning.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift/clamp truck to move raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas.
• Use RF scanning device to scan goods and maintain inventory records.
• Load and unload product from trailers.
• Assist with cycle counts and sorting of labels.
• Complete paperwork accurately for processing.
• Maintain the warehouse clean and organized.
• Grow your knowledge and skills through training and on-the-job experiences.

As a Forklift Operator, you safely & efficiently move & store raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas. You Will

• Operate a forklift/clamp truck to transport raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas
• Use a RF scanning device to scan goods & properly maintain inventory records
• Load and unload product from trailers
• Assist with cycle counts and sorting of labels
• Complete paperwork accurately for processing
• Maintain the warehouse clean and organized
• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience. This can be through work experience &/or education & training
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

You’ll Earn

• $19- $20 per hour.
• Night shift includes a shift differential of $1.00/hr.
