Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc in Alsip, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to move raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas. As a Forklift Operator, you safely & efficiently move & store raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas. You Will Operate a forklift/clamp truck to transport raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas

Use a RF scanning device to scan goods & properly maintain inventory records

Load and unload product from trailers

Assist with cycle counts and sorting of labels

Complete paperwork accurately for processing

Maintain the warehouse clean and organized

Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

Minimum of one year of forklift experience. This can be through work experience &/or education & training

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

You’ll Earn $19- $20 per hour. Night shift includes a shift differential of $1.00/hr.
