Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Materials Handler to safely move and store raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas. You will operate a forklift, maintain inventory records with RF scanning, and help load finished goods for shipment, contributing to our quality and on-time delivery goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs solo and up to 70 lbs with a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials between warehouse and production areas.
• Use RF scanner to scan goods and maintain inventory records.
• Load finished goods for shipment to customers.
• Participate in training and on-the-job experiences to grow skills.

You Will

• Operate a forklift to transport raw materials & finished goods between the warehouse & production areas
• Use a RF scanning device to scan goods & properly maintain inventory records
• Load finished goods to ship to customers
• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of forklift experience. This can be through work experience &/or education & training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift, with or without a reasonable accommodation

You’ll Earn

• $19 & up, based on experience
• Night shift includes a shift differential of $.50
