Job Summary

We are seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Greenville, OH. This role supports warehouse and manufacturing operations by handling materials, operating powered industrial equipment, staging production supplies, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, stage, and transport packaged materials, drums, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and yard tractors, in support of warehouse and production operations.
• Follow established material handling procedures, safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and equipment inspection practices.
• Support production flow by preparing, moving, and organizing materials based on operational priorities.
• Participate in safety training, compliance activities, hazard assessments, and incident investigations as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and use computer systems for training, documentation, and other job-related tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $23 per hour.
• Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Location: Greenville, OH.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Operate forklifts and yard tractors to move materials safely throughout the facility.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport packaged materials, drums, and equipment.
• Support production operations through accurate material handling and organized staging.
• Follow safety procedures, equipment inspection requirements, and housekeeping standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment, especially forklifts and yard tractors.
• Material handling experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or production environment.
• Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift, bend, twist, and climb stairs frequently.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required PPE and pass respiratory protection fit testing when applicable.
• Ability to support hazardous material spill response and cleanup when assigned and properly trained.
• Strong teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently while supporting team goals and changing operational priorities.
• Commitment to workplace safety, process safety, housekeeping, and following company procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chemical handling experience.
• Hazardous Materials Handling Certification under 49 CFR.
• Experience using computer systems for training, documentation, records, or warehouse-related tasks.
• Prior experience in a safety-sensitive warehouse, manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environment.
