Kelly Services is seeking a Fork Lift Operator to join a leading Carlisle, PA warehouse. Earn $20.05–$22.00 per hour across first and third shifts, with safe, clean, and accessible working conditions.

You will read orders, pick and move parts, and ensure accurate inventory through standard procedures while maintaining high safety standards and teamwork with colleagues. This role supports career growth and reliable scheduling.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills; able to work in a diverse team.
• Able to communicate effectively and stay focused amid distractions.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Operate forklift to pick and move parts per customer orders.
• Read orders and shipping documents to determine items to move or ship.
• Move items from bulk containers and shelves as directed.
• Fill requisitions and place items in designated areas.
• Transport materials between receiving and storage areas via forklift.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and accessible warehouse environment.
• Scan materials and follow standard work instructions.
• Complete forklift TPM on time as required.
• Assist with inventory counting and tracking.
• Perform routine facilities maintenance such as sweeping and mopping.

Shift: 1st shift ($20.05/hr), 3rd shift ($22.00/hr)

What’s a typical day as Fork Lift Operator? You’ll be:

• Picking and moving parts according to customer orders using a forklift and placing them in designated work areas

• Reading and interpreting customer orders, work orders, shipping documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped

• Moving items from bulk containers, racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences (size, type, style, color, or product code)

• Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and placing them in designated areas

• Transporting materials from receiving/storage areas to designated areas via forklift

• Ensuring the warehouse is clean, safe, and accessible

• Scanning materials and moving them according to standard work instructions

• Completing Forklift TPM in a timely manner as required

• Assisting with accurate tracking and physical counting of inventory

• Performing facilities maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have prior forklift certification (required)

• Are computer literate, with experience using WMS warehouse management systems (preferred)

• Possess good customer service and interpersonal skills and can work well within a diverse team

• Can communicate effectively and handle frequent distractions

• Are able to perform repetitive duties accurately within standard work parameters

• Can comply with company environmental, health, and safety standards

• Are physically able to lift up to 25lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally

• Are comfortable standing constantly, walking frequently, and performing tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, twisting, and turning as needed

• Have specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
