Job summary

Kelly Services in Southaven, MS is seeking experienced Forklift, Reach Truck and Cherry Picker Operators for 1st and 2nd shifts. The role requires proven stand up forklift, cherry picker and reach truck experience and testing on each machine to qualify.

Positions are full-time with contract to hire, offering weekly pay and benefits. Shifts run Monday through Friday with potential overtime on weekdays and weekends.

• Must be able to pass test on cherry picker and reach truck.
• Ability to handle pallets and cases and work with RF scanners or Voice Pick technology.

Responsibilities

• Unload pallets and cases from trailers using MHE or manually.
• Count and verify products with RF equipment/Voice Pick.
• Move products to storage or pick locations using MHE.
• Operate stand up forklift, reach truck and cherry picker up to 35 feet.
• Maintain safety, productivity and quality standards.

Are you an experienced Reach Truck, Cherry Picker Operator? And looking for a great new full-time opportunity in warehousing?

Kelly is hiring experienced 1 st shift & 2nd Shift Forklift, Reach Truck, & Cherry Picker Operators in Southaven, MS. Must have Cherry Picker and Reach Truck experience to qualify.

Position: Forklift (Stand Up)/Cherry Picker/Reach Truck Operators

Required: Must have proven, stand up Forklift, Cherry Picker and Reach Truck Experience: *Candidates will be required to test on cherry picker and reach truck to qualify.

Shifts:

1 st : 6 am to 2 pm: Monday – Friday (OT possible weekdays and weekends)

Pay: $17.15 / hour; Weekly Pay (Fridays) Full Time, Contract to Hire

2 nd : 2 pm to 10 pm: Monday – Friday (OT possible weekdays and weekends)

Pay: $18.15 / hour; Weekly Pay (Fridays) Full Time, Contract to Hire

Location: Southaven, MS.

What’s a typical day as a material handler equipment Operator? You’ll be:

• Unloading pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using material handling equipment
• Accurately counting, verifying, and receiving product using radio frequency equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology
• Moving cases of product from the inbound dock to storage locations in the warehouse using material handling equipment
• Moving pallets and/or cases from reserve location to pick location using material handling equipment
• Operating a stand up forklift, reach truck and cherry picker - picking items as high as 35 feet in the air
• Building pallets and delivering them to designated areas for shipping
• Loading pallets using material handling equipment
• Following safety policies and procedures and correcting or communicating hazards to management
• Maintaining productivity and quality standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Must have proven Cherry Picker and Reach Truck experience
• Must be good with heights, up to 35 feet.
• Must be able to lift over 50#s
• Will be required to wear a harness
• Have a demonstrated ability to operate various MHE.
• Have exceptional attention to detail, able to identify errors down to the single digit or letter.
