Job Summary

This position requires operating a forklift in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor environment, including paved and unpaved areas. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility that is both covered and uncovered.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment.
• Organize products on the yard according to inventory procedures.
• Safely load and unload products from flatbeds and box trailers.
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation through auditing, recording, and interpreting shipping data, weights & measures, labels, and production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned, temporary or permanent, as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a 5,000 lb forklift in an outdoor yard environment.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to perform routine inspections, fueling, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Strong math, communication, and comprehension skills for interfacing with transportation and dispatch operations.
• Successful completion of internal forklift certification and safety procedures demonstration.
• Physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs., stand, walk, sit, bend, climb, and work in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work in dusty, hot, or cold environments and use fall protection equipment.
