Description

If you want a forklift job that keeps you busy and moving, then this is it! If you are looking for a forklift job where you stay in the forklift the majority of the time, then this would not be a good fit.

This position is responsible for placing and pulling pallets as needed within the warehouse. It requires safely operating the forklift without causing damage to the products or the shelves. Because products are not picked by the pallet, forklift operations will frequently get on and off the forklift and will need to clear off and restack partial pallets, requiring frequent lifting.

Our warehouse includes a dry, cooler, and freezer section. We are currently hiring for a position that will primarily work in the cooler.

Shift and Compensation

• Day shift: Starts at 5 am – wages start at $17/hr

Stocker Responsibilities

Place product into shelving units using a forklift, ensuring safe operation without damaging products or shelves. This involves frequently getting on and off the forklift and manually moving products.

• Uses a forklift
• Includes repetitive lifting, approximately 50-60% of the shift
• Lift weights vary from 10-20 lbs (medium level) to up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs (heavy lifting)
