Job summary

Linamar is seeking a Material Handler in Indiana to support production by moving materials with a forklift and related duties. You will ensure smooth inventory flow, keep work areas clean, and assist with shipping/receiving tasks.

Requirements include forklift certification, 1–2 years of forklift driving experience preferred, and adherence to safety rules. Basic computer skills and ability to read route tags are important for this role.

Qualifications

• Pass forklift certification test (written and practical).
• 1–2 years of forklift driving experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and scanning.
• Adherence to safety rules and completing forklift inspections.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and parts using forklift and other equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and inventory flow.
• Scan materials and enter data into inventory software.
• Load and unload trucks and transport materials to stock areas.
• Support shipping/receiving with paperwork and routing verification.
• Take visual inventory and assist other material handlers as needed.
