Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Material Handler in Fletcher, NC. You will move materials inside and outside the facility using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensure FIFO, and load/unload trucks. You may assist in picking, inventory, shipping, and receiving as needed.

Responsibilities include dock audits, material transport, and maintaining organized work areas, with training and safety certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with a partner and independently as needed.
• Operate computer-operated machinery to print or track deliveries.
• Complete required training before on-the-job training and continuously learn on the job.
• Receive training in first aid or safe forklift operation.
• Active driver’s license is required; forklift and crane certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and move products or materials by hand or with pallet jacks/forklifts.
• Perform other material handling tasks such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking.
• Operate loading devices to safely load/unload materials from trucks.
• Maintain FIFO and proper routing between departments; keep areas organized.
