Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a dedicated Material Handler in Indiana to support daily production by providing OP material and managing shortages. You will pull, stage, and deliver materials, and coordinate with coordinators to handle BOM changes and shortages.

The role requires working outdoors/indoors, following 5S and safety rules. The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to production schedules, with routine forklift use and exposure to varying weather.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Must read and process work orders, receipts, prints and measurements.
• Must meet production goals and deadlines.
• Must work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Must be able to adapt to changes and read daily schedules.

Responsibilities

• Picks and scans material to fulfill a day's production or shortages on the line.
• Delivers completed part boxes or hot parts to staging or plant.
• Reports inventory issues to the Leader and returns extra parts to proper locations.
• Identify and locate all parts per procedures.
• Meet division metrics and participate in safety huddles.
• Complete equipment maintenance checklist.
