Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs is hiring a forklift operator responsible for unloading and loading materials, staging in designated areas, and ensuring accurate shipment documentation. The role requires basic warehousing knowledge and 1–2 years of forklift experience.

The employee will perform daily safety checks and observe GMP/SOP guidelines. Position emphasizes safe material handling, pallet management, and coordination with production and shipping teams in an on-site Indiana facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desirable; 1–2 years forklift operator experience or training.
• Knowledge/experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving or a combination thereof.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials, stage materials in designated areas.
• Load outgoing finished goods onto trucks or designated transport.
• Check shipments to certify items, quantities, weights, measures, lots and pallets.
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and deliver to supervisor.
• Stage incoming chemicals in quarantine area and in-process components after QC release.
• Safeguard and protect stored finished goods to prevent loss or damage.
• Transport pallets to/from production and other areas as needed.
• Move finished goods pallets to wrapper machine and then to shipping area.
• Inspect pallets for condition; return damaged pallets to vendor; reuse intact pallets.
• Inspect quantities, cases, tags, and labels from production.
• Daily forklift pre-shift safety check and equipment inspection.
• Perform regular internal audits of stored materials.
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to offsite warehouse.
• Observe GMP, SOP, and safety procedures.
