Job summary

Samuel, Son & Co. in Riverside, CA is seeking a dedicated Forklift Maintenance Mechanic to coordinate regular service with outside repair vendors and perform repairs on forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment across Riverside and Fontana locations.

This role includes preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulic, electrical, and structural systems, with potential overtime and weekend work. You will maintain logs, comply with safety standards, and support equipment reliability and

Qualifications

• Maintenance mechanical forklift skills.
• At least five to ten years of experience in lifting devices preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate forklift corrective and preventive maintenance with service suppliers.
• Perform emergency repairs and improvements on forklifts as needed.
• Interpret manufacturers' manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Provide maintenance and repair support for forklifts at Riverside and Fontana locations.
• Troubleshoot brake, electrical and hydraulic systems; detect safety issues and malfunctions.
• Ensure proper inventory levels of critical parts and maintain a clean workstation.
• Record work-orders and maintenance logs for preventive tasks.
• Assist with Root Cause Analysis to prevent future failures.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure timely completion of tasks.
