Personalization Mall in Medford, OR is seeking a Sr. Forklift Mechanic responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and related equipment.

The role covers diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues, servicing engines, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of diesel-fueled trailers and electrics. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, welding ability, and a valid Oregon driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Associates degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in vehicle mechanics including gasoline and propane engine repair and rebuilding.
• Strong communication skills are required interact with customers, vendors and equipment factory representatives.
• Auto air conditioning repair.
• Propane gas fitters license preferred.
• Forklift certification. (Harry & David will certify)
• Automotive diagnostic computer skills.
• Advanced welding skills (overhead, vertical, bracing, silver solder, stick and wire feed) are essential.
• Must have a valid Oregon’s Driver’s license and pass a driver record review.
• This is a safety-sensitive position subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with some overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and service.
• Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic problems and complex electrical problems.
• Maintain and repair gasoline and propane engines.
• Fuel refrigerated trailers with diesel as needed.
• Work with electric forklifts and related equipment.
• Adhere to safety practices and company policies.
• Interact with customers, vendors and equipment factory representatives as needed.
