Job summary

Warehouse Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our warehouse maintenance team.

The role focuses on maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with electric and LP forklifts, and a commitment to safety and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience repairing electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
• Repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brakes, and steering components.
• Maintain service records and maintenance logs for all equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Replace worn or defective components including motors, bearings, chains, and batteries.
