Warehouse Services, Inc. is hiring a skilled Forklift Mechanic to maintain and repair forklifts and related equipment in our busy warehouse. This role offers a day shift Mon-Thurs and an on-site work environment.

The ideal candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure OSHA-compliant practices to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing forklifts or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Ability to read service manuals and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment.
• Repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, brakes, and steering components.
• Maintain service records and maintenance logs for all equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Replace worn or defective components including motors, bearings, chains, and batteries.
• Support repairs on dock levelers and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the maintenance area.
• Work closely with operations teams to quickly address equipment issues.
