Job summary

Dal-Tile, the leading tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, seeks a forklift operator to move product within the warehouse. You will operate sit-down, stand-up and reach forklifts to pick, receive and pack orders.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of distribution/warehouse experience; at least six months to 1 year on sit-down forklift, reach truck, and order picker experience; strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and order picker experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Picking: Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders and prepare pallets.
• Receiving: Receive product into warehouse and inspect for quality, label as required, and store.
• Putaway: Move product to designated locations and update inventory locations.
• SPC Check/Pack: Pack and label boxes, verify orders for accuracy.
• General: Monitor equipment, follow safety procedures, and keep area clean.
