Job summary

Dal-Tile, the largest tile and natural stone manufacturer in the United States, is hiring a warehouse forklift operator in Sunnyvale, TX. Operate sit-down forklift and electric pallet jack to pick orders and move stock in a fast-paced distribution center.

You'll enter orders into WMS, verify stock, and ensure accurate putaway while following safety procedures. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1+ year warehouse experience, English proficiency, and Dal-Tile certification to operate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Picking – Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Putaway – move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received.
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.
