Job summary

Dal-Tile is hiring a forklift operator to load, unload, and move finished goods within a distribution center. You will operate sit-down and reach forklifts, pick orders, and use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate stock and order accuracy.

Responsibilities include receiving, putaway, packing, and shipping support, while maintaining safety and a clean, organized workspace. Prior warehouse experience and Dal-Tile forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks to assemble customer orders from stock and palletize for shipping.
• Enter orders into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing or shipping areas.
• Receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Inspect crates and labeling per procedures; verify shading and location accuracy.
• Putaway products into designated warehouse locations and update inventory systems.
• Wrap, pack, label, and load boxes for shipping; ensure orders are accurate.
• Monitor equipment and follow safety procedures; maintain a clean, organized area.
