Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, is seeking a forklift operator to pick orders and prepare shipments in the warehouse. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, move products to pallets, and verify stock for accuracy.

You will key orders into the Warehouse Management System, receive products, inspect crates, label and pack items, and ensure timelyputaway and shipping. A safety-conscious approach is expected in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience; six months to 1 year on sit-down, reach, and OP forklifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to understand English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Able to adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders and placing them on pallets.
• Operate powered trucks to assemble orders from stock and convey to packing or shipping areas.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Open crates, inspect product, apply labels.
• Putaway products into designated locations within warehouse.
• Wrap and pack products for shipping; label boxes.
• Load boxes onto conveyor belt; verify orders for accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
