Job summary

Great Connections Employment Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for the Scarborough area, Ontario. The role is on the Afternoon Shift (2pm–10pm) and involves loading, inspecting orders, and moving materials in a busy warehouse.

Applicants must hold a valid counterbalance forklift license, be able to operate a propane forklift, and have a strong safety record. English communication is required, with prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

Forklift Driver (Afternoon Shift) Scarborough, ON

Our client, a cardboard manufacturing company, is looking for an experiencedForklift Operator to work in the Scarborougharea.

Location: Finch Ave East & Markham Rd (Scarborough)

Shift timing: 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

• The verification and final inspection of orders;
• Loading, scheduling trucks and following applicable procedures;
• Moving raw materials into assembly areas and organizing stock in the warehouse as required;
• Administrative duties will include signing off on production specifications, confirming delivery and pick up schedules and completing delivery tickets for transfers;
• Wrapping and strapping loads as needed;

Requirements:

• Validcounterbalance forklift license
• Must be able to operate a propane forklift and be comfortable with lifting items off skids
• Have a strong safety record
• Can speak, read and understand English
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Must have 6 inch CSA approved safety boots
