Job summary

Debbie's Staffing is seeking a Cherry Picker Forklift Driver for our client in Kernersville, NC. 1st shift, 6:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with weekly pay; temp-to-hire opportunity.

We require 6 months of recent experience operating Cherry Pickers, Sit Down, and Stand Stand-Up forklifts, plus the ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs. RF scanning and accurate order picking are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Cherry Picker, Sit Down and Stand Stand-Up experience for this assignment.
• Excellent attendance.
• Cannot be afraid of heights (Comfortable working at heights of 30–50 feet).
• Grip battery plug-in connections multiple times per shift to recharge equipment batteries.
• Frequently grab, lift, carry, stack, and/or move materials and products weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Occasionally climb up two flights of 10-inch stairs.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 LBS.
• Must be able to stand/walk up to 10+ hours a day.
• Be able to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Cherry Picker, Sit Down and Stand Stand-Up to pick, move, locate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Load and unload products from trailers, staging areas, and storage racks.
• Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment using RF scanners.
• Perform put-away of inbound freight into designated warehouse locations.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as palletizing, wrapping, or labeling products.
• Use RF scanners for order picking and inventory control.
• Keep the work site clean and organized.

We are seeking experienced Cherry Picker, Sit Down and Stand Stand-Up Forklift Drivers to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment. Must have at least 6 months prior experience within the last year operating high reach trucks safely and efficiently while ensuring accuracy in order selection, inventory handling, and overall warehouse operations.
