Job summary

Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting Forklift Drivers for our client in Concord, NC. The role offers a rotating 12-hour schedule (6:00am-6:30pm) and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

This Temp to Hire position requires prior forklift experience and involves loading, unloading, shipping and receiving materials across the facility. Successful candidates should have 3 years forklift experience (4-5 years preferred), strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability to collaborate with multiple

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, ship and receive materials.
• Stock and distribute supplies and equipment.
• Transport materials around the facility as directed.
• Use RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory.
• Count materials and reconcile with system records.
• Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer data.
• Maintain a safe work environment and clean work area.
• Perform labeling, sorting, packing and other duties as needed.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shift. 6:00am-6:30pm.2,2,3 Schedule.

Pay: $18.00/hr. Weekly Pay! Temp to Hire!

Essential Functions:

• Loading, unloading, shipping & receiving materials.
• Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise.
• Transport materials as directed throughout the facility.
• Utilize RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory.
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock.
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment.
• Sweep and clean area, including trailers as needed.
• Operate other mechanical devise and/or other controls that operate lifting devices.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other misc. tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

• Must have 3 years previous Forklift experience. 4-5 years preferred.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Must have attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
