Job summary

Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting Forklift Drivers for our client in Kannapolis, NC. Schedule features rotating 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm to 6:30am (2,2,3). Pay is $19.00/hr with weekly pay and a temp-to-hire progression.

Essential duties include loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, stocking, RF scanning, and inventory counts. Candidates should have 4–5 years forklift experience, strong communication, attention to detail, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required; 4–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and assist in shipping/receiving.
• Stock and distribute supplies and equipment within the facility.
• Transport materials as directed and use RF scanners to update inventory.
• Count and reconcile stock; report discrepancies between counts and records.
• Maintain a safe work environment and help keep the area clean and organized.

Essential Functions:

• Loading, unloading, shipping & receiving materials.
• Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise.
• Transport materials as directed throughout the facility.
• Utilize RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory.
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock.
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment.
• Sweep and clean area, including trailers as needed.
• Operate other mechanical devise and/or other controls that operate lifting devices.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other misc. tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

• Must have previous Forklift experience. 4-5 years preferred.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Must have attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
