Job summary

Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting Forklift Drivers for our client located in Huntersville, NC. The shift is rotating 12-hour, from 6:00am to 6:30pm, with every other weekend required.

Pay is $18.00/hr with weekly pay. This temp-to-hire role requires forklift experience, reliability, and the ability to work well with others. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, shipping, inventory, and safety duties.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping & receiving materials.
• Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise.
• Transport materials as directed throughout the facility.
• Utilize RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory.
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise or supplies in stock.
• Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
• Promote a safe environment and follow safety procedures.
• Sweep and clean area, including trailers as needed.
• Operate lifting devices and related controls.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other misc. tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Conduct operations and model behavior that promotes a safe environment.
• Sweep and clean area, including trailers as needed.
• Operate other mechanical devise and/or other controls that operate lifting devices.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other misc. tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

• 5 years of Forklift experience strongly preferred.
