Job summary

The Portland Bottling Company in Clackamas, OR is hiring a Forklift Driver for 12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotation, with every other weekend a 3 day weekend. Starting pay up to $24.35/hour for candidates with prior experience and 3 weeks of PTO are offered.

You will operate electric or propane forklifts, move materials for the production line, scan with RF, and follow FEFO guidelines while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of warehouse experience, manufacturing preferred.
• 1+ year of forklift experience (sit-down and propane preferred).
• Commitment to safety and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric or propane forklift safely in a busy warehouse.
• Move raw materials and finished goods using RF scanner and ERP system.
• Stage pallets for the production line following FEFO.
• Maintain safety standards and inventory accuracy.
• Ensure materials are available to support production.

Job Summary

• This position is based out of our Clackamas plant: 16800 SE Evelyn St Clackamas, OR
• The schedule for this position is: 6pm - 6:30am on a 2-2-3 rotation, every other weekend is a 3 day weekend! (see below for shift rotation)
• Starting pay as high as $24.35 for candidates with prior experience
• 3 weeks of PTO

As a forklift driver, you will safely operate an electric or propane forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse. Your main responsibilities include moving and staging pallets needed to support the production line, following FEFO procedures.

You will work closely with the operations team by bringing materials to the production line, ensuring production stays on schedule. Inventory accuracy is a critical part of the role, scanning materials and recording product movements is required for every pallet move.

Safety is our top priority. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures while maintaining productivity and helping keep the warehouse organized and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an electric or propane forklift safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse
• Move raw materials and finished goods products throughout the warehouse, using an RF scanner and the ERP system
• Stage pallets of finished goods for the production line following FEFO (First Expired, First Out)
• Work in a fast-paced environment while following all safety standards.
• Ensure materials are available when needed to support production
• Follow GMP rules/ wear PPE (hairnet, safety glasses, vest) at all times.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working in a warehouse environment, manufacturing preferred
• 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift, sit down and propane preferred
• Possesses a high regard for safety in the workplace
