Job summary

Stingray Boats is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to verify incoming shipments, operate a forklift, and maintain accurate records. You will prepare documentation, package materials for shipment, and coordinate with teams to ensure timely movement of goods.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior shipping/warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and shipping software.
• Ability to accurately read and complete shipping documents and inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and carriers.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and documents.
• Operate forklift to load, unload, move and store materials.
• Enter and maintain shipping/receiving records in company systems.
• Prepare bills of lading, shipping labels, packing lists, and required documentation.
• Package, label, and stage materials for shipment to customers, vendors, and other facilities.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and cycle counting.
• Monitor and replenish shipping supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse personnel for timely material movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
