Job summary

Walor North America is seeking an Inspector for its QMI Forging team in Columbus. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, identify non-conforming products, and ensure documentation accuracy.

The role emphasizes adherence to 5S and ISO/TS 16949 standards while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork. The position offers on-site work at our Columbus facility, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in production, sorting or dimensional inspection.
• Expertise in basic metrology equipment knowledge.
• Basic understanding of ISO/TS 16949.
• NDT method knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to federal, state and local laws and ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 requirements.
• Continuous improvement of work and activities.
• Represent the company professionally and respectfully.
• Maintain time management and organizational skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Adhere to 5S principles.
• Perform visual sorting and segregation of product by criteria.
• Conduct dimensional inspection and segregation of product by criteria.
• Apply NDT inspection and segregation of product by criteria.
• Complete documentation accurately for activities performed.
• Communicate quality activities to Walor staff.
• Assist in training new or less experienced co-workers.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
