Job summary
thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies in Danville, IL seeks an Industrial Maintenance Technician to operate forge line equipment and perform routine and preventative maintenance. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety and quality across press, heater, and trim stations.
The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens) and robotics, and the ability to adapt
Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance education or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
- At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Strong background in mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
Responsibilities
- Operate forge line machinery and perform routine maintenance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctioning equipment and plant systems.
- Follow preventative maintenance programs and maintain PM records.
- Monitor and report downtime and equipment performance.
- Ensure safe operation and adherence to quality standards.
