Job summary

thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies in the United States seeks a Maintenance Tech to troubleshoot and repair plant machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and support robotic systems across multiple lines. You will read electrical/blueprint drawings and help keep presses, machining, and assembly lines running efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, and familiarity with Allen Bradley/Siemens PLCs, robotics, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Specialized training in mechanics trade or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Machine and building repairs.
• Troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment.
• Robotic programming.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, update and repair malfunctioning plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment involving checking voltages and changing out bad components.
• Understand PLCs and diagnose machine faults related to servos, AC Motion Controls, robotics, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine mechanical or machining maintenance on equipment.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program based on OEM manuals.
• Maintain records of daily PMs and readings.
