Job summary

Rheinmetall in Fountain Inn, SC seeks a maintenance technician to support automated assembly lines and facility systems. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and calibrate high-volume equipment, working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, robotics and pneumatic controls, to ensure continuous production.

The role requires a technical degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, plus strong PC skills and ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year Electrical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics degree.
• At least 3 years of experience maintaining automated assembly equipment.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Electrical/Electronic Controls, Motors and Drive Systems and Pneumatic controls.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with PC proficiency (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair high-volume automated assembly equipment.
• Diagnose PLC controls, robots, electro-mechanical and pneumatic devices.
• Support new equipment installation, debugging and launch.
• Support upgrades to production equipment and Facility equipment.
• Perform Predictive and Preventative Maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Develop PM and calibration procedures and troubleshooting documentation.
• Maintain CMMS documentation and equipment records.
