Job summary

Bharat Forge Aluminum USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform all maintenance on plant machinery, including electrical and mechanical work and PLC programming.

You'll read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings, repair and install parts, operate forklifts for material handling, and maintain safe, clean work areas while adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance experience preferred; 2+ years preferred.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting duties.
• Safety procedures and record-keeping required.
• Welding, brazing or burning in repairs may be needed.
• Forklift operation for material transport.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on machinery, including electrical/mechanical work and PLC programming/troubleshooting.
• Read blueprints and drawings to guide repairs and installations.
• Repair, replace, align, adjust, and install parts of plant equipment and machinery.
• Read effectively mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
• Transport material and parts to job sites using a forklift or compatible equipment.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas; report unsafe conditions and keep maintenance records.
