Job summary

thyssenkrupp Forged Technologies in Indiana seeks a Maintenance Tech to troubleshoot and repair plant machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and support robotic and PLC-related tasks on the factory floor.

You will read electrical blueprints, interpret OEM guidelines, and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. A background in mechanical trades and hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training in mechanics preferred.
• 3–5 years hands-on maintenance in manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery and perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair machine and building systems; perform readings and maintenance on PMs.
• Understand PLCs/robotics and adjust sensors, cameras, and software as needed.
• Read electrical and blueprint drawings to facilitate repairs.
• Maintain records of daily PMs and readings.
