Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Forge Helper for a contract-to-hire role in Cleveland, OH. You will support furnace operations, load and cut steel, and inspect parts for quality using micrometers, calipers, and tape measures. Training on 1st shift may start, with overtime and a $1,500 sign-on bonus available.

The role is fully onsite with work on two shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 8:00 PM–6:00 AM). Benefits begin after 30 days, including 401(k) with company match and uniform provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience reading precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in heating furnaces and operating forging machinery.
• Load steel parts onto conveyor belts and cut steel billets to the required length.
• Spray machinery to cool it down and ensure safe operation.
• Conduct quality inspections of parts using precision measurement tools.
