Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is hiring a Forge Operator III for its Cleveland, OH facility. The role involves setting up, maintaining, and operating large forge presses (1,000 ton to 12,000+ tons) to hot forge production and experimental commodities, with robotic material handling support.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, reading blueprints and specifications, training others as needed, and ensuring traceability of heat codes. Requires high school diploma and forging experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year forging experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be licensed to operate a walk-type lift truck, hydraulic lift truck, or overhead joist.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, routers, work instructions, and drawings.
• Set-up hydraulic press to specification and monitor performance.
• Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using gauges.
• Maintain safe and organized work environment.
