Job summary

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation in Lima, Ohio is hiring a Forge Annealing Helper for the Forge Department. This 3rd shift role supports forge press operations and related tasks in a busy foundry environment.

Starting wages are $22.20 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO, vacation, paid relief days, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Eligible for the Production Incentive Program based on production performance.

Qualifications

• Must read/interpret blueprints and tape measures.
• Strong math and measurement skills with good attention to detail.
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify forging assignments and ingot schedules.
• Operate forge press, crane, and furnaces; assist during press operation.
• Move ingots/forgings between furnace and press; perform startup/shutdown.
• Assist with housekeeping and preventative maintenance; follow safety policies.
