Responsibilities

• Know roles and responsibilities of each crew member on the press or hammer.
• Read and understand shop travelers, procedures, and production reports.
• Set up and operate dies, furnace controls, and related tools.
• Develop basic knowledge of materials and forging practices after training.
• Set up and use impression stamps.
• Maintain clean work area, machines, and tools.
