Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a production worker to assist the forging crew and support the production of parts per customer orders. The role requires basic reading of shop travelers and procedures, and the ability to operate furnace controls.

Die setting and area maintenance support are also part of the duties. High school diploma or GED is required, with a technical certificate preferred. Prior forge industry exposure is advantageous, and 1+ years of related experience or training is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, technical certificate preferred but not required.
• Experience in forge industry is highly preferred but not required.
• 1+ years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Assist workers engaged in fabrication of forged products to support forging crew and production of parts per customer orders.
• Read and understand shop travelers, operating procedures, and daily production reports.
• Set up and use impression stamps; operate dies and trimmers; clean and maintain dies and work area.
