Job summary

Interfor Corporation in Grand Forks, BC, is seeking a Harvesting Roads Supervisor to lead field activities supporting harvesting, road construction, and maintenance across the Grand Forks Woodlands operation.

The role involves working with contractors and internal teams to advance safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible forestry operations, with a focus on planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of BC Interior harvesting and road construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of BC Interior harvesting systems, road and bridge construction techniques.
• Eligible for, or accredited with, the Association of BC Forest Professionals.
• Safety and environmental regulatory compliance understanding.
• Ability to work with contractors and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor harvesting, road construction, maintenance, crossings, and engineered structures.
• Conduct safety and environmental inspections and investigate incidents.
• Build strong contractor relationships and monitor performance.
• Coordinate required road inspections and maintain records.
• Support forecasting for harvest volumes, road costs, logistics, and scheduling.
• Identify opportunities to improve harvesting systems and drive cost improvements.
