Manulife Investment Management Forest Management Inc. (MFM) seeks a forester to oversee harvest planning, layout, and logging administration for 60,000 acres in Colville, WA.

You will lead projects, coordinate with contractors and the silviculture team, and help implement land management programs in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. The role emphasizes field leadership, GIS-enabled planning, budgeting, and experience with ArcGIS Pro/Online and Excel for data management.

Competenze

• BS in Forest Management or equivalent.
• Knowledge of western tree species, silviculture, and forest management.
• Familiarity with Washington DNR forest practices rules.
• Excellent communication, entrepreneurial, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Mansioni

• Harvest unit design, boundary delineation, environmental compliance, harvest system selection, contracting, and administration.
• Use ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and other ESRI GIS software for mapping and planning; strong Excel skills for data management.
• Coordinate with contractors, neighbors and other stakeholders.
• Assist silviculture team on various projects and support land management activities.
• Active participation in safety program and budget/forecast development.
