Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations in the field. You will coordinate work, mentor crew members, enforce safety protocols, and resolve routine site issues in close partnership with management.

The role requires field leadership, CDL driving ability, and a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines and equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Good organization and multitasking capability.
• Willingness to work independently in field conditions.
• CDL license requirement documented.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew members.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA rules.
• Interacts with property owners to obtain access and address issues.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains relationships with customers and public, ensuring professional conduct.
• May investigate minor damage and report incidents.
• Keeps accurate crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Controls crew costs and efficient use of resources.
• Reports completed work, units, and crew performance to supervisors.
• Coordinates with customers, police, and fire departments as needed.
• Sets up barriers and safety measures to protect workers and the public.
• Ensures vehicle/tools maintenance and proper equipment operation.
