Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinating with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols. You will troubleshoot field issues and mentor crew members to ensure productive, compliant work.

Responsibilities include scheduling, enforcing OSHA standards, maintaining records, and communicating with property owners to secure access and resolve issues while controlling costs and maintaining customer relations.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Weight capacity consideration approx. 300 pounds.
• No fear of heights.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily crew work after orders.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policy.
• Addresses property owner access and work scope issues; refers to General Foreperson as needed.
• Obtains permission to perform required work from property owners.
• Maintains customer relations through effective completion of work.
• Investigates incidents and minor damage, reports on crew performance.
• Keeps accurate records, timesheets, and reports.
