Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily crew operations, collaborating with management to determine hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols to enforce on site.

The Foreperson troubleshoots routine job-site issues, trains and mentors employees and contractors, enforces safety practices, maintains records, and communicates with customers to ensure quality work and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task.
• Able to adapt to field requirements and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are issued.
• Conducts field trainings and retraining for crew on new job units.
• Enforces safety practices per OSHA and company policies and conducts safety training.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and job responsibilities with property owners.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains customer relations and documents crew performance and incidents.
