Job summary

SafeSpot seeks a Manager of Forensic Services to oversee the daily operations of the Forensic Services Program, supervise two Forensic Interviewers and three Family Advocates, and ensure child-centered, trauma-informed service delivery.

The role requires leadership experience, collaboration with multidisciplinary partners, and ongoing supervision with the CEO to align with SafeSpot’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, juvenile justice, criminal justice, or related field.
  • Five years’ experience providing direct service to children and families who have experienced abuse or violence.
  • Proven leadership and program management experience.
  • Three years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of child development, trauma, and the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and management of the Forensic Services Program and supervise the forensic services team.
  • Manage forensic interview schedule, including after-hours and offsite requests; provide case consultation.
  • Conduct forensic interviews and provide family advocacy as needed.
  • Maintain data collection for program outcomes and client satisfaction; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and MDT or CACVA-aligned activities.
  • Participate in MDT case reviews and provide guidance to ensure follow-through on recommendations.
